Hi Rob - thanks for the comment. It certainly was unprecedented in scale,
but I am sure we all would sacrifice that for unprecedented change in the
education sector.

There has not been much follow up and unfortunately the innovative practices
that could have been employed before, during and after the event to harness
the voice of the community involved and those who were not - are sadly
lacking.

I am pleased you enjoy what I write about here - thanks again.

======

Hi Tom:

Sorry we did not get a chance to meet and chat during the Summit.

I have really enjoyed your work on this site, and although my focus is adults learners with disabilities, see a lot of creative ideas with broad applications for other segments of the education continuum. Thank you for sharing these experiences, methods, and practices with us!

Are you aware of other participants from WISE who are trying to link up and stay connected? There is a bit of interaction on LinkedIn for the WISE group, and I have heard from the WISE logisitics people about a newsletter to be released soon.

For all the comments about what/who was missing, it is still the boldest initiative to make an attempt at bringing together the various elements of the educational and global community.

Warm regards,

Rob

An interesting and important image Tom - thanks for creating it!

Interesting that some of the world's smallest countries by population (USA, UK, France) were over represented - I think that this reflects the imbalance in global education.
